For Educators
The
goal of the Koyukuk/Nowitna Information and Education Program is to
promote awareness, appreciation, and respect for our natural resources.
We want to build relationships with people in our communities through
school and youth programs and community events that foster communication
and understanding of refuge area resources.
The Koyukuk/Nowitna Refuge Complex has a large number of resources
in our reference library to help others teach about our environment
-- birds, mammals, wetlands, watersheds, and more! We have teaching
kits, curriculum, books and videos, as well as a staff of experts that
can visit and/or provide information to schools and communities. Follow
the links below for more information!
