Classroom Visits
During the school year staff from the Koyukuk/Nowitna Refuge Complex travel to local villages by bush-plane and snow machine to present information about wildlife, ecology, research, survey methods, management, etc. to school children. We usually visit the following villages: Hughes and Huslia on the Koyukuk River; Tanana, Ruby, Galena, Koyukuk, Nulato, and Kaltag on the Yukon River. Contact our office for more details.
